Coconut Milk Rice with Prawns and Green Peas
Hi Friends, Today we are going to prepare Coconut Milk Rice with Prawn and Green Peas
Soak the Basmati Rice in a water for 20 Minutes
Blend Ginger and Garlic into paste in a mixer Jar
Take a mixing bowl
Ginger Garlic Paste
Squeeze the lemon
Stir well and set aside about 30 minutes
Coconut Milk Preparation
Remove the coconut flesh from the shell
Grind the coconut in a mixer jar and filter the milk
Preparation for Prawn Pulao
Add Oil to hot pan
Add marinated prawns and cook till the prawn release the moisture.
Transfer the prawns to a plate and set aside
Transfer the gravy to a bowl
Add oil in a same pan
Add bay leaves
Chop the onion like this
And add it to the pan
And saute for 2 minutes
Water ratio is 2 : 3
Measure the milk and water in the same measuring cup measured for the rice
Add 3 cups of water for 2 cup rice.
Add marinated prawns
Add Ghee and close the lid
Cook for 15 minutes in the low flame
Switch off the flame and allow prawn pulao to rest for 15 minutes
Now, Open the lid and stir gently.
The delicious prawn pulao is ready.
