Ingredients:-
12 prawns shelled, keeping the head and the tail intact and legs trimmed
2 tsp. Kashmiri chilli powder
2 tsp. Pathare Prabhu sambar masala
½ tsp. turmeric powder
1 ½ tbsp. Garlic paste
5 tbsp. Oil
A pinch of asafoetida
Salt to taste

For The Pathare Prabhu Sambar Masala
2 tbsp. Wheat
2 tbsp. Split Bengal gram
1 tsp. Turmeric powder
½ tsp. Fenugreek seeds
A pinch of asafoetida
1 tsp. black peppercorns
20 Kashmiri dry red chillies
8 tbsp. coriander seeds
1½ tbsp. Cumin seeds
1½ tbsp. mustard seeds

Method:-
The Curry:-
1. In a flat bottom pan, heat oil and add the asafoetida and garlic. Sauté garlic until the raw smell goes off but see to it that the colour of the garlic does not change.
2. Add salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder and the sambar powder and mix well.
3. Add the prawns and sauté gently and coat the prawns with the masala.
4. Add 4 tbsp of water and cover and steam the prawns for 4 minutes.
5. Once you add the water you shouldn’t stir the curry. Hold the vessel on both the sides and gently coat the prawns with the sauce.
6. Serve this hot with rice and dal.

The Pathare Prabhu Sambar Masala:-
1. Dry roast all the ingredients one at a time except the turmeric and the asafoetida.
2. Cool the ingredients and then add the turmeric and the asafoetida and blend in the mixer to a fine powder.
3. Store in an air tight container and use as required.

How to Make Prawn Biryani | Prawn Biryani Recipe South Indian | Carrot Salad Recipe

Step #1.
Marinate the Prawns

Add, chilly powder
turmeric powder
salt 3 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
squeezed lemon
cleaned prawn.

Step #2.
Preparing Prawn Biryani
Ingredients
Cloves
Bay Leaves
Oil as it needed
Cinnamic
Fennel Seeds
Ghee
2 cups of Basmati rice 300 grams
A cup of chopped onions
A cup of sliced tomatoes
6 green chili
Mint leaves
Salt as per needed
Cup of Curd
grated carrot
Add 300 grams of Basmati rice, in a large bowl

As water as it needed
Soak in the water for 15 minutes.

Add oil in the hot pan
Add Fennel Seeds
Cinnamic
Cloves
Bay Leaves
green chili
chopped onions
Fry onions until brown.
Onion turned into brown.

Now… Add tomatoes
Add 1 tablespoon of salt
Cook tomatoes till it turns smashing

Now it’s time to add marinate prawns
Mix it well and cook for 2 minutes

Now.. add the rice
Water ration is 1: 1
For 1 cup of rice add 1 cup of water
Leave for 2 minutes till water boil

Add the mint leaves
Add Ghee as per your taste

Close the lid and cook about for 15 minutes
Switch off the flame after 15 minutes
And, allow prawn biryani to rest for 15 minutes

Now… open the lid and mix everything
The delicious prawn biryani is ready to serve

Step #3.
Carrot Salad Recipe

Add grated carrot, mint leaves, salt as per your taste, add yogurt and mix it well

Learn how to make Prawns Paratha / Kolambi Parantha, a healthy and quick Indian breakfast recipe from our chef Archana.

Ingredients:

1 Cup Prawns
2 Onions, chopped
2 Tomatoes, chopped
2 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Garlic, chopped
1 tbsp Mix Masala
Coriander Leaves
Water
Salt to taste

Method:

- Marinate the prawns with coriander-garlic paste and salt.
- In pan heat some oil. Add onions, tomatoes, garlic, coriander leaves and salt. Saute everything for 10 minutes.
- With the help of a masher, mash the tomatoes & onions.
- Add mix masala and mix well.
- Add marinated prawns, coriander leaves and little water. Mix everything well.
- Cover it and let everything cook for 10 minutes.
- Keep the mixture aside to cool down.
- Make a soft dough with flour, oil and water.
- Make small size round balls to make flat rotis.
- Fill the stuffing in the rotis and seal the edges as shown in the video.
- Heat up some oil on a flat pan. Roast the parathas till they show brown spots.

Ingredients Used in Preparing Prawns Curry are:
- 1/2 Kg Prawn
- 1/2 Pod of Garlic
- 2 Onions
- 1/2 Ginger
- 2 tbsp East Indian Bottle Masala
- 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 Tomato Paste
- 1 Small Coconut’s Milk
- Pinch of Sugar
- Salt
- 1/2 tbsp of East Indian Vinegar

How to make Prawns Curry:

1) Add 1/2 pod of garlic and paste of 2 onions to 3 tbsp of vegetable oil and fry it well.

3) Make the tomato paste and add to it.
4) Add 3/4th of the first extract of coconut milk to the pan.
5) Put 1/2 kg of prawns to the mixture and bring it to boil.
6) Now add 1 1/2 cup of second extract of coconut milk and allow it to cook for some time.
7) Add pinch of sugar and required amount of salt to the mixture and boil it for 7 minutes.

Prawn Curry Recipe! Learn how to make quick & easy Prawn (Kolambi) curry at home from our chef Archana! There are many ways in which Prawns are cooked, so here is the yummy fish recipe in Karwar (Maharashtrian) style!

Ingredients:

1 Cup Large Prawns (Kolambi)
1 Cup Masala Paste (mix masala, coconut, coriander seeds powder, onion)
7 to 8 Kokam
1 tsp Oil
1 Cup Water
Salt to taste

साहित्य:

१ वाटा मोठी कोलंबी
१ कप वाटण (ओलं खोबरं, mix मसाला, धणे पावडर, कांदा)
७ ते ८ कोकम
१ tsp तेल
१ कप पाणी
मीठ

Method:

- In a pan, heat some oil. Add the masala paste and salt. Saute it for a minute.
- Then add the prawns, kokam & water. Mix everything well.
- Let the curry boil for 5 to 10 mins.
- Serve the Prawn Curry piping hot with plain rice or bhakri!
