1 tbsp. Oil
¼ cup Salted butter
25 medium sized raw Prawns, peeled with tail on
⅛ cup Garlic cloves, crushed
⅛ cup Green garlic, chopped
Salt, as required
Freshly ground black pepper, as required
Chilli flakes, as required
⅛ cup parsley, chopped
2 tbsp. Lemon juice
½ tsp. Corn starch
2-3 tbsp. Water
- Heat oil in a pan and add prawns to it.
- Toss this well and add salt. Keep the flame on high.
- Add garlic, butter, parsley and toss again.
- Add water, chilli flakes, black pepper, corn flour slurry, lemon juice and mix well.
Delicious Butter Garlic Prawns are ready to eat.

How to make Prawn Biryani – Tasty and Spicy Recipe
Prawn – 200 gm , Basmati Rice – 3 cups
Onion – 2 , Tomato – 1
Ginger Garlic paste – 2 tsp
Green Chillies – 2 , Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder – 1 tsp , Mint & Coriander leaves – few
Oil or Ghee – 3 tsp , salt – as needed
Fennel seeds or powder – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds or powder – 1 tsp
Cinnamon, Bay leaves , pepper, cardomon, cloves – few
Lemon – half, Curd or Yoghurt – 2 tsp
Soak the Basmati Rice in water for 30 minutes
Add all the whole spices to oil on a hot vessel followed by pepper, fennel and cumin
Add cut green chillies and stir fry for a minute
Add chopped onions and fry till onion turns light brown
Add salt, Ginger Garlic paste and mix well, fry for 2 minutes
Add chopped tomatoes and mix well
Add the mint leaves now
Add Turmeric powder followed by Chilli powder
Add Curd or Yoghurt and mix well
Add washed, peeled prawns and fry for 2 minutes
Add soaked Basmati Rice and fry till the mix becomes dry
Add 4 cups of water(for 3 cups of Rice) and squeeze half lemon
Close the lid and cook in low flame for 10 minutes
Turn off the heat , Mix it slightly and leave it for 10 minutes
Add chopped coriander leaves before serving

500 gms. Large prawns
1 medium onion, ground to a paste
3 pods of garlic, chopped
1 tsp. Ginger paste
10 green chillies, finely chopped
1 tsp. Sugar
2 cups of coconut milk
4 Bay leaves
4 Green cardamoms
2 tsp. Chilli powder
1 tsp. Turmeric powder
Salt, to taste
3 tbsp. Mustard oil
1. Marinate the prawns with salt and turmeric powder for 30 minutes and fry them golden.
2. In the same oil add the garlic and when the flavour is consumed by the oil remove the garlic and add the bay leaves.
3. Add the cardamom, cloves and the cinnamon and add the bay leaves.
4. Add the onion and the sugar and sauté till the oil separates.
5. Add the ginger paste and cook.
6. Add the coconut milk and 1 cup of water and stir continuously.
7. Add the chilli powder, salt and stir continuously.
8. When the gravy boils add the prawns and cook on a low flame till the curry turns creamy.
9. Serve with steamed rice.
