Recipe for: Stir Fry Prawns & Cabbage

The sweetness of the prawns, the spiciness of the green peppercorn and chillies, and the crunchiness of the Chinese cabbage. what a flirtation!

Ingredients:
1 Large Cabbage
500g Raw Prawns
4 Cloves Garlic
2 Slices Ginger
1 Tsp Green Peppercorns
3 Red Chilli Peppers
2 Green Chilli Peppers
Salt to Taste

Method:
1. Cut the cabbage into bite sized pieces
2. Chop the garlic
3. Chop the ginger
4. De-seed the peppers, then roughly chop
5. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the wok
6. Add in the prawns
7. Fry till they turn pink
8. Remove from heat & place on a dish for later
9. Place the cabbage in the same wok
10. Fry for a minute then remove
11. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil
12. Add the peppercorns
13. Fry for few seconds
14. Add the garlic, ginger & chilli peppers
15. Fry for few seconds
16. Add the prawns
17. Stir the ingredients
18. Add the cabbage
19. Stir fry for half a minute
20. Add salt to your taste
21. Stir for a minute
22. Transfer onto a dish
23. & serve

Recipe for: Chinese Mango Prawns

Ingredients:
200g Raw Prawns
1 Mango
2 Cloves Garlic
1 Tsp Paprika
Small Bunch Fresh Coriander (20g)
1 Green Chilli Pepper
Salt to Taste

Method:
1. Finely chop the garlic.
2. Thinly slice the green chilli.
3. Roughly chop the coriander.
4. Peel and cut the mango into bite size pieces.
5. Place garlic into 2 Tbsp of hot olive oil and fry for few seconds.
6. Add mango and paprika into the pan and fry for a minute.
7. Add the chilli pepper, prawns and salt.
8. Fry for 2 to 4 minutes until the prawns are cooked.
9. Stir in the coriander.
10. Then transfer onto a dish and serve.

500g pork belly
500g tomatoes

Ingredients:
- Cloves
- Cardamom
- Cinnamon
- Oil
- Chopped Onions
- Ginger Garlic Paste
- chopped Tomatoes
- 1/4th tsp of turmeric
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- Prawns
- Curry leaves

Method:
- Roast cloves, cardamom and cinnamon until the color changes
- Add coconut oil in pan, chopped onions add little salt to speed up the cooking procees
- Add ginger garlic paste, chopped tomatoes and mix well
- Add turmeric and chilli powder and let it cook for while
- Add prawns and mix it, smash the roasted spices and add in the mixture
- Add curry leaves and cook them well

“Prawn is a very popular seafood and is extremely delicious. When the cold air of winter hits, spice yourself up with some flavorful, spicy and delicious Prawn Curry. In this video Maria Goretti is going to show you how to make East Indian Style Prawn Curry. Watch the video to learn the recipe of this delicious seafood.

Ingredients Used in Preparing Prawns Curry are:
- 1/2 Kg Prawn
- 1/2 Pod of Garlic
- 2 Onions
- 1/2 Ginger
- 2 tbsp East Indian Bottle Masala
- 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 Tomato Paste
- 1 Small Coconut’s Milk
- Pinch of Sugar
- Salt
- 1/2 tbsp of East Indian Vinegar

How to make Prawns Curry:

1) Add 1/2 pod of garlic and paste of 2 onions to 3 tbsp of vegetable oil and fry it well.

3) Make the tomato paste and add to it.
4) Add 3/4th of the first extract of coconut milk to the pan.
5) Put 1/2 kg of prawns to the mixture and bring it to boil.
6) Now add 1 1/2 cup of second extract of coconut milk and allow it to cook for some time.
7) Add pinch of sugar and required amount of salt to the mixture and boil it for 7 minutes.

Prawn Curry Recipe! Learn how to make quick & easy Prawn (Kolambi) curry at home from our chef Archana! There are many ways in which Prawns are cooked, so here is the yummy fish recipe in Karwar (Maharashtrian) style!

Ingredients:

1 Cup Large Prawns (Kolambi)
1 Cup Masala Paste (mix masala, coconut, coriander seeds powder, onion)
7 to 8 Kokam
1 tsp Oil
1 Cup Water
Salt to taste

साहित्य:

१ वाटा मोठी कोलंबी
१ कप वाटण (ओलं खोबरं, mix मसाला, धणे पावडर, कांदा)
७ ते ८ कोकम
१ tsp तेल
१ कप पाणी
मीठ

Method:

- In a pan, heat some oil. Add the masala paste and salt. Saute it for a minute.
- Then add the prawns, kokam & water. Mix everything well.
- Let the curry boil for 5 to 10 mins.
- Serve the Prawn Curry piping hot with plain rice or bhakri!
